I’m sure that’s not the official name — it’s sponsored by the local handweaver’s group — but regardles, it was today and I went.  I wasn’t expecting a lot, but I did enjoy it — there were more vendors than I thought, lots of pretty hand-dyed roving & yarn, spinning stuff, and weaving stuff.

I enjoyed digging through the table of donated books & magazines and left with a sackful (after leaving a donation, of course, to the guild), including a couple old Vogue, Wool Gatherings, Spin Offs and a stack of Precious Fibers mags which I have to dig through to see how useful they’ll be.  I also found 2 embroidery references — a Coats and Clark pamphlet and a small book — which will be handy while I’m figuring out the final embroidery stuff for Slinky Ribs.

I succumbed to Irish Moss from Capistrano Fiber Arts :

I also spent, I’m sure, an hour digging through a basket of beads and a basket of buttons.  $1 for a little cup! This is one cup of buttons and one of beads:

On the knitting front, I’m actually a little past the progress shown here (a few rounds past the center motif) on my Osino Gathered Pullover:
