The foot pod still works, despite its gasket-less state and total dunking Saturday.
I ran this morning with Rachele, my new LA Tri Club Tuesday a.m. running partner, (and Rigel) and the foot pod diligently did its thing.

Escondido Falls Hike (and quick wading at Leo Carrillo)
March 29th, 2009 · 2 Comments
Yesterday Dave, I and Rigel hiked to Escondido Falls. It’s one of the few areas that allows dogs so we figured Rigel would like the adventure. To his great delight he discovered lizards, how to get incredibly muddy crossing streams, and how to scramble and climb like a little mountain goat.

St Brigid, Joined Again

It seems like the last few days of knitting were more surgical intervention. I had joined, knit about an inch or so, but there were a couple un-ignorable (and ultimately, after trying, un-fixable) mistakes. Some frogging ensued, as well as more concrete planning on the center front and the armhole shaping.
Regardless, I’m now back [...]

Regardless, two nights ago I woke up, middle of the night, thinking that not all stitch patterns look the same upside down as they do right side up….and would St Brigid’s? did I have to re-configure the cable patterns?
The [...]

I think the following, is nice, but I didn’t want to limit it to the first three people. And note you do have to have some sort of blog from which I can glean information regarding your tastes, and you can run your own contest.

I have quickly reached the decision that, even in the spirit of learning something new with every major project, it is quite enough to convert a dropped shoulder, unshaped Starmore Celtic cable design to a top down, set in sleeve sweater WITHOUT learning a new technique of doing set in sleeves (i.e. learning simultaneous as [...]
