It seems like the last few days of knitting were more surgical intervention. I had joined, knit about an inch or so, but there were a couple un-ignorable (and ultimately, after trying, un-fixable) mistakes. Some frogging ensued, as well as more concrete planning on the center front and the armhole shaping.
Regardless, I’m now back to where I was a few days ago, but in a much better place.
