Kiila by Yarnissima
Oak Grove Pearl Sox in Desert Shade
Knit Picks size 1 (eventually went to Magic Loop at the end)
I like the pattern, I really like the gusset (Kiila is the word for gusset), but the foot is a bit tight and my Russian bind off a bit loose. But they’re pretty, nonetheless.
Another FO of sorts:
Rivendell by Janel Laidman
Craft’s Meow Banana Split yarn in Grape Sorbet
Knit Picks size 1, magic loop
This was knit as a test/demo for Gwen’s yarn. She only needed the one sock. The pattern is fun and one I’d wanted to try.
I’ll post more on Madrona later, but I had a wonderful time! Kathy posted a ton of pics at her blog.
I’ve also cast on for Nancy Bush’s Anniversary Socks, using some luscious True Heart Fiberphile, part of the June Ravelry SKA knitalong. Pics later. (Kiila and Helene were for May; I need to finish Helene by the end of June for it to count.)
P.S. The shoes in the Kiila pic are Born Anita clogs that I bought from Zappos.

The socks are great, and I LOVE those shoes! Your toes look so nice and round. Mine are coming out square. lol I’m not sure what I’m doing.
The toes are only that nice & round because I blocked them!
Oh my goodness! Those Kiilas are just the cutest! I love them with your shoesies.
And your Rivendell is just lovely. Maybe you’ve converted to actually wearing the socks you create? Looking forward to seeing how you sytle these.
PS. I’m jealous of your Fiberphile score.
