I voted Yes, but only if I can find them cheaper than similar mass produced items. Because, I can often find things cheaper AND better than if it was commercially produced.

I buy things that I like, sometimes handmade sometimes mass produced. I do enjoy buying handmade things very much, I always feel that I'm getting something unique and supporting an artist.

I am a mass produced kind of gal. I love to look at hand/home made things and could spend hours at craft fairs. It's so expensive to buy home made that I really only do it for the holidays/birthdays and mainly just for my mom.

I love handmade and often times find it much better quality. I have kids so my budget doesn't always stretch to handmade for them all the time. That being said I also like the diy facet of life ,my parents taught me to be willing to make do, make it myself, or trade skills with someone who can.I do knit and spin and have to say that for the ones that are special in my life handmade is the choice I make.

Jackie sent me! I love the idea of handmade items but don't see a lot of them where I live deep in the Ozarks. Most folks here either buy new from a store or do without. I'm new to your readership but I think I'll keep coming back!.
