Celebrate the release of the Fall Issue of Knitcircus with me!
If you’ve not yet seen the issue, check it out now!
Afterwards, to be entered in the giveaway, come back & comment on this post which article or pattern is your favorite. Or favorites, if you can’t decide. I certainly wouldn’t be able to pick just one!
3 winners: 3 pattern collection downloads and a lovely skein of Handwerks classic sock yarn in Sumac, shown below (included for the first place winner with their pattern collection) up for grabs.
Shoot, for a second chance to win, visit the Handwerks site and leave a second comment with your favorite yarn/colorway combo.
Here”s a pic of the yarn, in case you’re not convinced yet to enter:
So, up to 2 separate comments, left on this blog post, one with favorite pattern(s) &/or article(s), and one with favorite yarn/colorway combo from Handwerks, for 2 chances to win, both with a way to contact you (either a blog address or your Ravelry name is fine).
I’m also going to have a contest on my Ravelry group for at least one (probably more) pattern collection download(s); all you have to do for that one is be a current member of my Ravelry group. I’ll be posting that in the next day or so in the Rav group, keep an eye out.
For the blog contest, I’ll do the random number generator thing after midnight PST Wednesday August 11th to pick a winner. I’ll post the winners on Thursday August 12th.
If I’ve not heard from the winners by midnight PST August 14th, I’ll repeat the random number generator and post on August 15th.
Thanks for playing, and good luck!!!

The winter lilies shawl is my favorite. I am obsessed with the designer and the style of shawl.
My favorite pattern is Stone Henley, because it’s always nice to see a great men’s sweater pattern, and my favorite article is on picking yarn for a sweater.
My favorite from Handwerks is the Foothills DK. Super colorway.
Well, of course your pattern is one of my faves along with the article by Wendy Johnson on chart making. Congrats to you!!!
The article on choosing a sweater yarn was great!

I also enjoyed the article on picking yarn for a sweater. It’s such a large investment, in $$, time and emotions, it pays to start off on the right foot.
I love the Necessary Sock Weathered Copper colorway at Handwerks, and would love to see it in their other bases as well.
I enjoyed the interview with Cat Borhdi and also the Choose it and Use it – very informative.
Pinot Noir and Weathered Copper were gorgeous, but looking at their website there wasn’t a bad colorway in the bunch.
I most like the Autumn Leaves Hat, 2nd In the Clove Socks. 3rd choice is His & Hers Socks.
Beautiful yarn!

The Aubergine colorway is just lovely!
My favorite pattern is the De-Lovely fingerless mitts. If I knit socks, it would have been the “In the Clover” sock pattern.

I loved the Choose it and Use it. Excellent issue this time around!
I found the article on choosing the right yarn for a sweater to be very helpful. I’m still a lower case “k” knittter and stuff like that comes in handy. Favorite pattern is the Dickie Van Dyke cowl and armwarmers.

The Beachcomber Vest really appeals to me as do the His & Hers Socks! I plan to go back and have a more thourough read of the chartmaking article as well.

So many beautiful colors!! I have actually managed to fondle some Handwerks yars – and knit a pair of socks from Necessary Sock – and can attest that it is lovely. Although there are many contenders – I think my favorite is So-Soft-Sock Night (followed closely by Chokeberry, Milkweed and Misty Morning!) Mmmmmm.
Suzie – DeepCreek on Ravelry
i like the his and hers socks – versatile, wearable, pretty and interesting to knit but not too difficult.
What’s not to love about a publication that has cookie recipies, knitting patterns and sewing patterns. Heaven would be a Celtic Memories bag full of Mmmolasses crinkles!
Love the Felted mittens for the little one. Will need to make a couple of pairs for my chldren.

I think I am in love with Winter Lilies! And OHH! the As Sweet As Honey Baby Blanket is ADORABLE! I hope you are well and I wish you happy knitting!
While I love your beachcomber sweater, I tend to knit things that are one-size-fits-all. I LOVE the Jera socks. I wish I could download one pattern at a time instead of the entire magazine (yes, I took the survey and said so!).
I like the His and Hers Socks. I keep trying to find a nice pattern for the hubby and this one looks like it might be just the thing.
I love the ‘Winter Lilies’ pattern
I love the yarn shade ‘Lipstick’
Oh, what a generous contest! My favorite pattern is the raspberry mittens, though I’m intrigued by the “coming soon” butterfly mitts.
