Mid October already!

Work continues on the Jack sweater. It’s due the end of October.  I’m finally at that happy point (enough pattern repeats) where I can actually get a hint of what the FO might really look like (as opposed to what it looks like in the sketch or charted out or swatch).

Testing is going swimmingly on Tarte Tatin.  I’m still hoping to mail the vest to Marilyn, so she can show it off at Stitches East.

I’ve set up a test knit for Beachcomber in the Rav group — if you’re interested, comment in the thread.  I have a tester for the Small & a Large, but would like a Medium  and a 2X.

I’m brainstorming submission ideas for the Spring Sanguine Gryphon line — Art Nouveau inspired.  They come up with the neatest mood boards and themes.

Thanks ever so much to Tina, aka Arizona Knitter, at Peacefully Knitting — I won (and have received) a copy of Vogue Kntting:  Mittens and Gloves!  Look for a review soon.

Regarding contests, don’t forget to enter the giveaway for Brave New Knits here.  So far not a lot of entries….this book deserves more!
