Japanese Knitting Book

I received my copy of the by-now infamous “Japanese Knitting Book” (actual translated name New Style of Heirloom Knitting) for the Crossed in Translation KAL (website pending by January One). It’s an absolutely gorgeous sweater and probably more than I should tackle. You can see a pic at this blog. It’s the reddish cardigan about halfway down. I also love the cream sweater with the oak leaf and acorn center panel (it’s on the cover but on my screen that pic didn’t come out so well). And oh — it also has some gorgeous Fair Isle sweaters and hats, too, that aren’t highlighted on that website.
