Blue Lupine Mitts
© Knitcircus Magazine 2011
Using just one skein of SHELTER, shown in the Faded Quilt Colorway, these mitts will be a go-to project when you need something quick yet still special.
The cuff, featuring an Aran Lace stitch pattern from Annie Maloney’s Aran Lace stitch dictionary, is worked flat. Use a special button for the cuff.
The stitches of the main body of the mitt are picked up along the edge. The main body of the mitt knits up quickly in stockinette stitch. The thumb is slightly offset for a more comfortable anatomically correct fit. Gusset increases are paired (right & left) lifted increases.
Size: Women’s S/M (M/L). Shown in M/L.
Finished Measurements: Palm circumference above thumb: 7 (8)”
