I tried to be so careful not to twist my first row before I joined it. Problem was, it was 200 stitches, that wanted to twist, and I wasn’t able to get them untwisted. Even though the deceptive little buggers looked untwisted when I joined it.
So now I’m frogging about 15 hard-won rows. At least I got a lot of practice, right? And it could’ve been worse, I could’ve gotten a lot further along. And I’ve been trying to knit Continental with one yarn, English with the other (though doing both English is still easier). My gauge seems to be the same either way.
And the Colinette throw? Well, it’s my adaptation of the Perugino pattern. It still looks gorgeous though.
