Shades of Green, by Erica Jackofsky, 52 pp. $18 PDF, $20 print.
I’m very happy to be part of Erica’s Shades of Green blog tour! Erica’s put together a great collection of patterns in a clean, well-styled package that’s lovely to explore.
The Shades of Green collection includes a variety of patterns inspired by, yes, various shades of green. It also includes tidbits of green facts: the meaning of green, serpentine stone, etc.
The patterns are primarily accessories: five hats, a scarf, and two shawls. One of the hats, Green with Envy, is unisex and shown modeled on a man (husband?). Also included are a few small home accessories: two travel mug cozies and a cellphone sock. The Peridot Tunic rounds out the collection.
Both charted and line by line instructions are included.  Each pattern includes multiple photographs showing the pertinent details of the item. Thorough pattern notes are included as needed (primarily for the first shawl).
None of these patterns seem particularly tricky (Erica rates them as Intermediate), and most would knit up very quickly — holiday gifts, anyone?
