Dave and I did another jaunt to Theodore Payne yesterday. We came home with more Heuchara, various sages, sagebrushes, and more. Hopefully we’ll get them in the ground today.
The native plant garden tour is April 12/13 of next year. I’m hoping (more hope!) that we’ll be able to participate in 2009.
Rigel had an exciting day yesterday. He got chittered at by a very cute squirrel who was on a branch of the pine tree; Rigel was outraged. He’s not too fond of our urban wildlife. He’s seen a raccoon and a baby opussum as well. I’m sure as our plants grow we’ll get more mammals as well as birds and insects.
